Sat Apr 11, 2009, 3:29 AM
i wrote something for once... i only had to avoid sleep last night to do it... so maybe i could become a writer if i never slept? well... that would only work if the stuff i wrote became a better quality with increased hours of awareness... which isnt so impossible... maybe one of these days ill try it... til then, please try and enjoy what little im writing lately... and let me know what you think! =D

hah, 1st comment...I feel proud of myself...I've wondered why it says Devious thoughts, when they are in fact comments and you can't physically add a thought because it's in your mind (I'm sleep deprived and i need some coffee, alas i am becoming the addict...)
    :iconironmaiden59:
omg, i used to be such a ridiculous addict... i was drinking like 4 energy drinks a day... and was getting from 0-4 hours of sleep a night... that would keep going until i'd crash... and then i would sleep from 12-16 hours... oh how i miss caffeine so... =D
    :icontheillustrator713:
I've only had two energy drinks in my life so far...both on the same day in fact. I don't really think they had much of an effect on me...lol, I just wanted to know what a Rockstar tasted like...It must be a psychological thing, if you think it'll get you hyper then it will, same with the opposite...so I guess you could in theory get hyper off of water or some juice...should try it one day, haha...
    :iconironmaiden59:
ok, well the thing is... its kinda a mix... it is psychological in the way ttha you have tto want to get hyper really... but if you let yourself go a little, it makes a huge difference... and really its not a hyper thing, the caffeine in the energy drinks increases your heart rate, your metabolism, and constricts your blood vessels. the increase in metabolism burns the sugars in the energy drink proving more energy for any tasks you may possibly have at hand. but again, the trick to getting anything out of an energy drink is to actually do something. because if you are just sitting around, your metabolism will regulate itself again, and wont provide any extra energy, and you probably wont notice the increase in heart rate because honestly, how often do any of us pay attention to our hearts? lol um.. yeah, and yes, the psychological aspecct of it all is important, and if you really try you can make it work with water, but it gets really tiring... oh btw, while i claim to be a writer... im really a math/science person lol =D

wow, very knowledgable. I'd forgotten all of that from health...I took psychology last year, I'll admit energy drinks have the caffeine and there are physical effects...i remember there was this test we learned about done once on a group with a placebo and an actual alcoholic drink, both were told it was alcohol--how they got the first group to fall for it, I have no clue--although it was probably just some strong drink, because they believed it, they got "drunk"....the same kind of test was done with a medicine, don't remember the details of that though...The brain is a very powerful thing...believe you'll get sick and you'll start to feel sick...
lol, I'm not really a math or science person...Although i do love theories and the learning about the universe, everything that can never be proven and probably never will be truly found it...absolutely fascinating....
